The overall methodology used in the HABITS project will involve a quantitative framework, based on the established link between travel choices made by individuals, leading to transport and planning implications and interventions, and consequential health burdens for the individuals and communities. The consequences of newly available T&T data will be explored initially using interfaces with commonly used transport and planning models such as Paramics, Saturn, agent based models and LUTI models. HABITS will generate new tools that can be used directly by others in the public (and private) sectors.
